My wife had never been to a baseball game, so I took her to see the Los Angeles

Dodgers one night.  내 아내는 한 번도 야구경기를 본 적이 없어서, 어느 날 저녁에 LA

다저스 경기를 보려고 아내를 데려갔다.

Our seats were right behind the third-base line. At the top of the first inning, the batter hit a foul ball.

우리 자리는 3루수 바로 뒤였다. 첫 번째 이닝의 처음에 타자가 파울볼을 쳤다.

Miraculously, I managed to catch it on the fly.

그런데 신기하게도 그 플라이 공을 내가 가까스로 잡게 되었다.

As I sat down, breathless with excitement, my wife turned to me and said, "That was nice. How many of those do you get a game?"

공을 잡아 흥분으로 숨이 차서 자리에 앉자, 내 아내가 나를 보며 묻기를, “잘 했어요. 근데

당신 한 게임에 그런 공 몇 개나 잡지요?”

ㅎㅎㅎ 이 아내는 파울 플라이 볼을 하루에도 몇 개씩이나 잡아내는 줄 알았던 모양이네요?ㅎㅎㅎ
