^^ Sermon Follow-Up : 설교 철저히 하기

A minister told his congregation, 

"Next week I plan to preach about the sin of lying. 

To help you understand my sermon, I want you all to read Mark 17."

어떤 목사님이 집회 성도들에게 다음과 같이 말했다.

“다음 주에는 속이는 죄에 대해 설교를 할 계획입니다. 

제 설교를 이해하는데 도움이 되도록, 여러분 모두 마가복음 17장을 읽어오시기 바랍니다.” 

The following Sunday, as he prepared to deliver his sermon, 

the minister asked for a show of hands. 

He wanted to know how many had read Mark 17.

다음 주일이 되어, 설교를 시작하려고 준비할 즈음에 

목사님이 마가복음 17장을 얼마나 많은 신도들이 읽어보았는지를 알고 싶다면서 

손을 들어보라고 했다. 

Every hand went up.  

모든 사람의 손이 올라갔다. 

The minister smiled and said, "Mark has only sixteen chapters. 

I will now proceed with my sermon on the sin of lying."

목사님은 웃으면서 말했다. “마가복음은 16장까지 밖에 없답니다. 

이제 저는 속이는 죄에 대해서 설교를 시작하겠습니다.” 

ㅋㅋㅋ 정말 매우 적절한 설교가 되었겠네요. ㅎㅎㅎ
