A police car pulled up in front of grandma Bessie's house, and grandpa got out.

한 경찰차가 베시 할머니 집 앞에 멈춰 섰다.

The polite policeman explained that the elderly gentleman said that he was lost in

the park and couldn't find his way home.

예의를 갖춘 경찰관이 나이든 노신사 한 분이 자기가 공원에서 길을 잃어버려서 집으로 가는 길을 찾을 수가 없다고 하신다고 설명했다.

"Morris," said grandma, "You've been going to that park for over 30 years! How

come you get lost today?"

할머니가 말하기를 “모리스, 당신은 30년이 넘도록 그 공원으로 다녔잖아요! 오늘은 어떻게 길을 잃어버렸어요?”

Leaning close to grandma, so that the policeman couldn't hear, grandpa

whispered,

"I wasn't lost. I was just too tired to walk home."

할아버지가 할머니 곁에 바짝 붙어서 속삭이는 바람에 경찰관은 들을 수가 없었다.

“나 길 잃어버린 게 아니라오. 거저 너무 피곤해서 집으로 못 걸어오겠더라고요.”^^

**할아버지 요령이 보통이 아니네요.ㅋㅋㅋ
